The Event
The Annual Bodie Hodges Foundation Sports Dinner took place at the Leicester Tigers ground on 28th March, as our Charity of the Year, Hybrid AV supplied all of the audio visual equipment, event décor and technical expertise on the night as part of the sponsor package we offer our Charity of the Year.
What we did
To cover all of the 77m length of the Premiership Suite we built a huge long truss set compromising of 4 x individual LED video wall screens with a centre stage area to host the main event of the night, the interview with Rugby legend Martin Johnson. The interview was displayed on each of the screens via a camera giving all of the guests full view of the nights festivities. A room full of lighting included pixel storm battens, LEDj Uplighters, E-lumen 8 led lights and E-lumen 8 Evoras. Further lighting was added to the room with our LED Table centre pieces and acrylic table numbers, 30 in total for each of the tables.
Either side of the interview stage area, we built two LED Columns to display all of the nights sponsors, giving them maximum coverage during the evening. A variety of additional equipment for the audio and overall production for the event was also supplied and our red velvet entranceway and led poseur tables finished off the overall look for the evening.

Our 7th Annual Sports Dinner that took place on 28th March at Welford Road Stadium was no exception and was without doubt our best to date. With the support of Tara, Jon and the Team, the event looked and sounded fantastic with several of our guests saying how impressed they were the appearance of the Dinner. It’s always so reassuring to know that we have them involved and nothing is ever too much of a problem to sort out. This calmness under pressure always helps events toon smoothly. The quality of the sound and lighting played a big part in making this event our most successful yet and we’re looking forward to work with Hybrid AV in the future.
