June 2019 Events

Some of the fantastic events that we have managed for our clients in June 2019

Something new for this blog post, a selection of events that we have produced for our clients during the month of June, we’ve been up to Hull, down to London and everywhere in between.  From conferences to exhibitions, Summer Balls and Awards nights, we’ve included a short round-up giving you an in-sight into our fabulous June!

Conference and Awards 

At the beginning of June we installed a large 5m x 3m LED Video Wall at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, this was for a clients conference and awards, half way though the day they were joined by special guest Nic Hamilton who gave an inspirational talk on his life as a racing car driver with cerebral palsy.

Company Logo Reveal 

Off to Hull next, to deliver a special event where a companies new logo and name was being revealed to the company and all of their employees.  Hosted in a marquee we installed a 13ft screen and projector in-cased in a truss frame set along with a large PA system, E-Lumen 8 Evora lights and LEDj uplighters were spaced around the marquee in front of a 40m wall of black drape.

Bodie Hodges Foundation 80’s Summer Ball

Our amazing charity of the year – The Bodie Hodges Foundation put on a summer 80s-themed ball at the Leicester Racecourse on Friday 21st June.  This was an incredible night and as the evening sun set our LED Poseur tables lit the area, the inside of the marquee was filled with LEDj uplighters and hundreds of slinkys hanging from the ceiling added to the 80’s theme.

Exhibition Stand, The Meetings Show, Olympia, London 

This is just a quick snippet on this event as we’ll be producing a full blog post on this.  Our crew headed to Olympia in London to install a bespoke 6mx3m exhibition stand, in-cased within the stand was a large 5.5mx2.5m LED Video wall.  This stand was a huge upgrade for our client by going digital and moving away from the traditional printed stands and the feedback they had was incredible.

Awards Night at Marriott Leicester

For the past several years we have produced this Awards night at the Marriott Leicester for our client, as well as installing a wide stage set that comprised of two large 3.5m LED Video walls, we also had two 2m LED Video wall columns to display the sponsors logos and then a staggered centre piece of 5 LED Video wall columns displaying the clients logo for the evening.  Our Green Hippo Karst Media player was used to configure the layout of the slides and logos and the whole set was hung from a truss framework covered in black stretch sleeves so that the set blended into the black starcloth behind it.  For the event we also produced the power point slides for the awards and over 100 slides were created with voiceovers, animations and videos.

  • Hybrid Av have been supplying audio visual equipment to Leicester Tigers for over 25 years. I have personally been involved for the last 17 years on the events side of the business and have always had a good working relationship with their team. In addition to the general conference business that Hybrid Av support, we hold two end of year award dinners, one for our sponsors and one for our supporters, where Hybrid Av manage the AV side of the night.
    This year we have an additional commercial dinner which again we will bring Hybrid Av on board.

  • Without exception, the feedback we have had is that it was the best event yet. We threw a number of extra challenges at you and the team this year which you responded to calmly and without issue.
    There were many, many things that could have gone wrong with an event that becomes more complex each year and the important thing is that we can have absolute confidence that should something happen, it will be dealt with and resolved quickly and without fuss and your team give us that confidence.
