Retail Risk take over the King Power Stadium in Leicester for their Annual Conference, Exhibition and Awards

Having worked with Retail Risk now for over 5 years its been a pleasure to see this event grow and grow, Hybrid AV now provide this event with full event management services including a team of 4 highly experienced Event Managers, our audio visual team is a team of 5 including Event Director who oversees the whole event and we then have another crew consisting of 4 team members who come in post conference, to collect in all of the day time conference sets and to assist in preparing the room for the evening awards – that’s 13 members of staff in total !

After a full days build the day prior,  its all systems go from 8am with event registration and a 6m long LED video wall to welcome guests.

With over 61 exhibitors, throughout the day we have 4 simultaneous conferences including our own creation of a conference room in the upstairs reception area.  A 15m long LED video wall awaited guests in the main conference hall whilst the other rooms consisted of projection sets.

As the conferences come to a close at 4 pm, our large AV crew begin the de-rig and set up for the Retail Risk Awards with pre-dinner drinks starting from 6 pm.

A new addition this year was an Ibiza style VIP bar, something so cool that we’ve given it, its own blog post!

The awards themselves began from 745pm, over 500 guests took their place, our team of videographers were in place for the live feeds, alongside the Event Director, Technical Director, Lighting technician, Awards technician and follow spot technician.  Our own team of event managers were seating guests and ensuring the awards ran smoothly with each presenter in place for their cue to go on stage.

With the awards completed around 1230am, the guests were left to party into the early hours.
